Venezia Acque is an independent editorial project about the waterways of Venice, made for visitors who want to understand how the city on water actually works. It is not a travel agency and has no partnerships with transport operators, venues or commercial services.

• Facts are checked against public sources — official operators, the Comune di Venezia, published reference works.
• We do not publish prices, and we do not recommend or rank commercial services.
• We write plainly: the lagoon is complicated enough without jargon.
